Top of the Line Training
Triad STOP Restoration has been serving Winston-Salem and the surrounding communities since 2014, and the STOP franchise itself has been in business for over 40 years! This means that when it comes to fire, water and mold restoration services, there is only one name you should trust - STOP Restoration. For over 4 decades we have been the industry leading experts on everything from water damage to bio-hazard cleanup to sewage backups. We understand that emergencies can happen at any moment, which is why our team is quick to respond. We work efficiently to assess the damage, clean up the property and ensure our customers know what is going on every step of the way. Part of how we maintain our top of the line services is through a thorough training process that has proven positive results. We cover everything from industry basics to top quality customer service. Here are some insights into the success of our training practices.
The first step to ensuring success in this industry is hiring well – we seek to find and hire candidates that are willing to put in the effort to learn the industry and maintain a positive attitude in the process. Every employee that is brought on goes through hours of customer service training which is designed to help them understand how to relate to our customers during these highly stressful times. We understand that when someone has experienced a loss in their home, it can be a stressful time – our goal is to take some of that burden away. Our team wants you to feel comfortable with us being in your home. That means, respecting your personal space and belongings, closing off any unsafe areas, wearing PPE to protect everyone from any harmful exposures and communicating with the property owner throughout the process. We will also work directly with your insurance company to ensure that they are in the loop regarding your specific loss.
Our technicians are also well trained in the hands-on portion of the job – we require 15 weeks of in-house training, which entails the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) guidelines. The IICRC is a nonprofit organization that sets the standard for all restoration and cleaning services. The goal is to keep our technicians up to date with the latest safety related standards. We also subscribe to virtual training on topics about proper drying protocols, mold remediation and even estimates.
So there you have it, a look into some of the training that our technicians complete in order to ensure they’re successful in serving our community. For more information regarding our services, you can visit our website or give us a call at .
